Wareham Therapy Clinic was started in 1990 by chiropractor Melanie Taylor. It has developed over the years to become a busy alternative health centre, incorporating complementary and orthodox health practitioners. All practitioners are fully qualified, insured and registered with the relevant regulatory bodies. Many practitioners are registered with private health insurance; please ask for details.
Free assessments are available with all practitioners if you are unsure what therapy you require. A range of orthopaedic products are available for sale i.e. pillows, collars, supports etc.

Melanie grew up in Wimborne and graduated from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic as best academic student in 1985.
She worked for 7 years at a busy chiropractic clinic in Surrey before opening her own clinic in Wareham in 1990.
Chiropractic treatment is known mainly for manipulation of the spinal joints for back and neck pain or for trapped nerves.
However it can also be very good for sports injuries, arthritis, tension headaches and most musculoskeletal pains.
Melanie lives on a farm in Swanage and when not working her great loves are helping on the farm, walking the dogs and learning to ride.
