We hope to be able to use this website to guide, help and inform you about what we can do and what you can do to help you with your "neuromusculoskeletal" health problems and also give any breaking news. Online booking is now available. Chiropractor Rob Scott is a sports chiropractor and worked at the London 2012 Olympic Games. He has also worked with the British Masters Athletics Team, The World Tug of War Competition and helps many athletes to produce their best on the day.

He has recently been appointed Head of Medical Services to the Hockey for Heroes hockey team. In 2017 he was selected to be part of an international team of Chiropractors to work at the IWGA World Games in Wroclaw, Poland to provide medical support to competing countries that had no medical backup to try and "level the playing field." Pain is caused by soft tissues that have been damaged.

Any damage will cause muscle inhibition through the flexor withdrawal reflex. If, for instance, an inhibited muscle is affecting the way a joint works then the soft tissues around it may become damaged.
Services
We have monitored all our patients over a year and have documented their progress, in terms of pain reduction, to all the treated areas of the body (low back, neck, arm or leg).
We found there has been an average 50% or more decrease in pain levels after 4 treatments.
The graph below shows that our approach to your problems works.
The red bar is the pain level at the start of the treatment and the yellow after 4 treatments.
So it is in your best interests to come soon and not let the problem drift on and on in the hope that it might get better - all that does is make sure it will take longer to fix.
Throughout the years he has developed and learnt a range of adjunctive treatments including extremities (arms, elbows, wrists, knees and feet), assessing gait mechanics, soft tissue therapies and has gained a post graduate diploma in Sports Chiropractic (ICSSD) which allows him to treat elite athletes.
He has worked at a number of British Masters Athletics events including the European Championships in Poznan in 2006, the World and European Tug of War Championships and has recently worked at the 2012 London Olympics at the Polyclinic in the Olympic Rowing Village, which he describes as a great honour and a fantastic experience.
80% of us will suffer from low back pain during our lives and for the most part it is caused by either stressing our backs due to over exertion.
This is particularly the case in people who lead a sedentary life and sit at a desk all day and then make unkind demands on their backs at the weekend or suddenly take some exercise.
Acute back pain and the stiffness associated with it can come from any part of the pain sensitive structures in the back.
These include the joints, muscles, discs and ligaments.
Neck pain can be sudden pain and stiffness that you just wake up with or a pain that is just there all the time in the neck.
Often it occurs suddenly and we just can't turn the head one way or both.
Sudden neck pain can occur in everyday situations without warning.
It is good to go to a chiropractor if you have neck pain as it can be successfully treated.
Often the problem occurs due to locking in the facet joints of the neck and a chiropractic treatment often gives excellent results.
There are many reasons for acute or chronic neck pain.
Degenerative disc disease: normal aging affects the disc shape and function and can result in a herniated disc and pain.
Piriformis syndrome: the sciatic nerve runs under the piriformis muscle so muscle tightness or spasm in the piriformis muscle can compress the sciatic nerve.
Pregnancy: the extra weight and pressure on your spine can cause compression of the sciatic nerve.
Spinal stenosis: your nerves travel through spaces in your spine and these spaces can narrow (stenosis) significantly so that it puts pressure on the nerves in your low back.
