At City Chiropractic our key aim is to find the root cause of your problem and help you to manage and deal with it as quickly as possible, while helping you to deal with the day to day stresses of life that may be aggravating your issue. In order to get to the root cause of your problem/pain, we will first ask you to complete a confidential medical history which will ask about your general health, surgery history, underlying conditions and accidents you have had.
We will then discuss your health and issues with you and what you hope to get from your treatment. We will ask you to change into a modesty gown (you are free to bring shorts if you feel more comfortable in them) and we will use a range of Orthopaedic, Neurological and Chiropractic tests to assess your movement, posture, joints and muscles. We may also assess your blood pressure, heart, lungs, eyes and ears if deemed necessary.
If we identify anything that we think your GP should check, we will advise you of this and may write to your GP (with your permission) to inform them of our findings.
